In a natural environment People form homogeneous or heterogeneous group, live together in a group and get engaged in similar or different types of professions like agriculture, commerce, trade, technology, transportation, teaching, health care or any other professions as per their choice. With the growth of economy and urbanization, the heterogeneous Communities are growing fast, who come from diverse social environment, religion, diverse economic and cultural back ground and follow own rituals and principles. Community co-ordinates the diverse influences of number of environments and act as the central force where all the religious beliefs fuse together and create new branch of wisdom based on the concept of humanity. Mutual Trust, Respect for each other, Love for all, homogeneous thoughts and aspiration for growth are the sources of power for a community, which helps for peaceful living and development, what is called “Spiritual Humanism’.

Self, Community, Nature and Heaven are four interconnected dimensions of existence and Humanity grows in understanding the true meaning of it. Spirituality is recognising the self and through yoga and meditation one feels its interconnectedness with super being (brahma) , the Universe. In the sense of materialistic thoughts connected with nature. The individual fees the happiness of life by realisation of his / her emotions love, kindness, forgiveness for others and by others, so it loves to live in a community. Water is the source of energy in every human being and water comes from heaven through or by Sun.

Vivekananda’ teachings is the best example of Spiritual Humanism.  When he met Ramakrishna Paramhansa in 1882, with knowledge of science, education, humanism etc. and Ramakrishna teaches him to concentrate on his soul and identify the energy inside him for realisation of self (Brahma), he says individual can meet with his own power or own consciousness, which is very easy. Human should meet with super being or good dwell in all and we are having the capacity to evolve and express in full the divinity innate in every one of us. In Veda which has been described as Brahma. In 1893 in Chicago Speech he focuses on “ Infinite Universal  Individuality”. His focus was manifestation of goodness inside every body and establishment of interconnectedness leads to universal happiness and peace. Third one was as a teacher teaching the Universal consciousness to all.

The three principles of Vivekananda on Spiritual Humanism are manifestation of Super Being in all, Establishment of interconnectedness through Yoga and meditation and third is teaching the world the Universal consciousness. Those teachings have come from the teachings of Veda of Self, Super Being in all in the form of Brahma, establishment of interconnectedness through yoga and respect all living being or brahma inside them.

The basic principles of Indian Community are diversity, equity and inclusion. The community is built up with people from diverse back ground with respect to religion, geographical location, culture etc.. There are deep rooted biases and traditional thoughts exists inside every human in the community. But community drives the people associated with it with respect and dignity by acknowledging their goodness and strengths and bank upon it to create an unique identity and driven by that ideology. The values, ethics followed by communities are equity and access to all with freedom of choice without any legal or formal restrictions. Respect for humanity its values are supreme. Of course, in few cases, some imbalances are noticed, but it is purely dependent on individual prospective and characteristics. The Indian Community building system is purely natural, mostly based on Vedic Principles, and driven by innate power of understanding and concept of humanism.

The Community mass spiritual celebrations are the examples of second principles of Swami Vivekananda on Spiritual Humanism of establishment of interconnectedness with all and taking the control of all being for realisation of good being in all. When the people come together for a noble purpose of practicing spirituality together, they are disconnected from all the material attachments and negative thoughts, they come only for the getting with super being have the realisation of godliness in them.

The Indian Communities follow a well established system to connect the new members and the younger generations with the well establishes system to learn to live together in the community, to follow the common principles, maintain the healthy relationship of love and respect with all.

Let us believe in Universal Goodness in all and work together to bring Universal Peace to Humanity naturally irrespective of any artificial man made boundaries.

Each living creature is solely responsible for one's living state of affair. Whether peace or sorrow; rich or poor; educated or illiterate etc. During ancient age at Gurukul, pupils from the very beginning were taught the basics of normal lifestyle. And, this philosophy led them to reach at apex level or enabled them to touch the sky. The elaboration values a lot for the current society. Thanks a lot Madam for the hidden idea & ideology.

The concept of spiritual and secular humanism I feel seeks to articulate a positive conception of human wellbeing in us. Dalai Lama says “Spirituality I take to be concerned with those qualities of the human spirit –such as love and compassion, patience, tolerance, forgiveness, contentment, a sense of responsibility, a sense of harmony –which bring happiness to both self and others”. The author addresses every aspect of this and it’s a fact that every great leader preaches what is beneficial for the humanity and Spiritual Humanism is one of those. At the end it is humanity which will thrive.
